HC refuses to interfere into technicalities of Kusei bridge

Orissa High Court today rejected a PIL seeking judicial intervention into the proposed Kusei Bridge in Keonjhar district.
A Division Bench headed by Chief Justice Vineet Saran rejected the PIL filed by Belabahali Anchalika Surakhya Manch saying it is not inclined to interfere into a decision taken by experts.
The Manch in its petition has urged the High Court to intervene and shift the location of the bridge over river Kusei on NH-215.
The National Highway Authority of India is constructing the bridge that was cleared by the Union government last year.
