The Calcutta High Court today sought details of all assets owned by MPS Group and its director on a complaint that the diversified company was allegedly collection money from the matket despite a high court ban.
A division bench of Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice Joymalya Bagchi ordered the company and its director to submit all details of assets owned by them within three weeks.
During the hearing, Enforcement Directorate told the court that they wanted to investigate the assets held by the company.

Members of the MPS Investors' Association had filed a petition in the court alleging that the company was still collecting money from the market despite a high court ban in 2013.
The court had earlier directed the police to close down all offices, resorts and other establishments of MPS Group.
