Heat wave conditions prevailed in most of Vidarbha region though mercury came down a bit at some places.
Wardha recorded the highest temperature in the region at 44 degree Celsius, followed by Nagpur at 42.9 degree Celsius, which was slightly lower than yesterday's 44.2 degree Celsius.
In Akola, the mercury climbed to 43.5 degree celsius, Amravati 42.6, Chandrapur 43, Bramhapuri 43.8, Gondia 41.6, Washim 41, Wardha 44 and Yavatmal 42.5, according to the Regional Meteorology Centre.
