Heavy rains in Kolkata, North Bengal

Large parts of West Bengal including the capital city of Kolkata experienced heavy rainfall today.
The Met office said heavy rainfall of 100 mm was recorded in the last 24 hours in the metropolis where the minimum temperature was 26 degrees Celsius and maximum was 28 degrees.
North Bengal districts, many of which are experiencing floods, also recorded heavy rainfall.
Bagdogra recorded 104 mm, while Jalpaiguri received 146 mm rainfall till 5.30 PM, the weather office said predicting a similar rain pattern for tomorrow.
