A bank heist was averted here with the Haryana Police discovering an eight-feet deep tunnel leading to the strongroom.
The unidentified miscreants, who had dug up the eight- feet deep and 1.5-feet wide tunnel, fled from the spot after the alarm at the public sector bank set off last night.
The alarm alerted the bank officials who then called up the police. The tunnel was dug from an abandoned building situated at the bank branch's backside, police said.
