Bicycle maker Hero Cycles today said it has appointed Rohit Gothi as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In his new role, Gothi will be responsible for spearheading the planning, development and execution of the company's long-term strategy, Hero Cycles said in a statement.
He was earlier the executive director, market operations at Hindustan CocaCola Beverages for four years.
"Rohit's leadership would be instrumental in guiding the organisation towards consolidating the domestic market while marking a global presence internationally," Hero Motors Company (HMC) Group CMD Pankaj M Munjal said.
He brings with him 25 years of experience and has worked in companies including Shalimar Paints, Marico, Lornamead and Bharti Airtel.
