Shares of the country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today rose by nearly 2 per cent after the company reported a 3.64 per cent increase in October sales.
The stock gained 1.66 per cent to settle at Rs 3,379.50 on BSE. During the day, it rose by 2.27 per cent to Rs 3,400.
The stock was the top gainer among the 30-Sensex components.

At NSE, shares of the company went up by 1.55 per cent to end at Rs 3,378.50.
Hero MotoCorp yesterday reported a 3.64 per cent rise in sales at 6,63,153 units in October.
The company had sold 6,39,802 units in October 2015, Hero MotoCorp had said in a statement.
The two-wheeler major said its retail sales during the festive period crossed a million units even before the Dhanteras day.
"This has overall been a record festive season for Hero MotoCorp. With this performance, the company's dealer inventories have come back to normal levels," it said.
