Heroin worth Rs 10 cr seized from Indo-Pak border

Heroin worth more than Rs 10 crore in the international market was seized from Panjgrain area of Gurdaspur sector along the Indo-Pak border, a senior BSF official said today.

BSF, in a joint search operation with Punjab Police, seized over two kg of Heroin worth more than Rs 10 crore in the international market from Panjgrain area last night, DIG, BSF Punjab Frontier, R P S Jaswal said here.

With the seizure, the total amount of Heroin recovered from Indo-Pakistan international border by Punjab frontier's jawans has jumped to a whopping 245.68 kg, Jaswal said.
