Police have arrested a man on chrges of drug trafficking and recovered 383 grams of heroin worth Rs 38 lakhs, from his possession, in the district today.
According to circle officer Arun Kumar Singh, based on a tip off, a trap was laid to nab the accused.
The police team intercepted a two-wheeler under Sikheda police station area and recovered heroin worth Rs 38 lakh from the accused identified as Sunil Kumar, an employee of Railway and arrested him, he said.

During interrogation, it was revealed that drug was smuggled from Gujarat, to be sold in Jansath town here.
Meanwhile, the bike recovered from the accused was also found to be stolen, he added.
