Heroin worth Rs 55 crore from Pak seized

Border Security Force has seized eleven kilogram of heroin with a face value of Rs 55 crore in the international market.

Confirming the seizure here today, a BSF official said that the consignment of drug was pushed from Pakistan to India through Bikhiwind Indo-Pak border last night.

It was being carried by Pakistani smugglers who escaped under the cover of darkness, he added.

On a search operation today, the BSF found eleven kilogram heroin on the spot.
