Hideout busted in Pulwama, cache of weapons recovered

Security forces have busted a hide-out in Pulwama district of south Kashmir and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, police said today.

Acting on a tip off, a team of police, army and paramilitary CRPF launched a search operation in the forest area of Saimoh in Tral area of the district during which a hideout was busted, they said.

9 Under-barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades, two hand grenades, two detonators, a binocular, LPG cylinder, four blankets, two pressure cookers, two emergency lights and other utilities were recovered from the hideout, police said.

Police has registered a case and investigation is going on, they added.
