Actress Hilary Duff has filed for divorce from her husband Mike Comrie after separating last year.
Duff, 27, has hired high-profile celebrity attorney Laura Wasser to represent her, a representative for the singer has confirmed to Billboard.
She is reportedly asking for primary physical custody of their son, Luca, who will turn three next month, with visitation rights for the former NHL player Comrie.
The couple has a prenuptial agreement.
