Hindu Munnani leader's motorcycle torched

A motor cycle belonging to a Hindu Munnani leader, parked near his house, was today torched by some unidentified persons at Kuniyamuthur, police said.

Rajeshkanna, the Munnani Kuniyamuthur Town secretary had parked his vehicle around 11.30 pm yesterday and he got up around 4 AM after he noticed flames near the parking area, police said.

Though there were four to five two-wheelers parked in the area and only his bike was torched, Rajeshkanna stated in his complaint.

He claimed there could be some political motive behind it and wanted the police to investigate and take action against the culprits, they said.
