Hindu Sena founder Acchyuta Shetty dead

Well-known social worker and founder of local right-wing group Hindu Sena Acchyuta Shetty today died of protracted illness at his residence in Bhiwandi, family sources said.

Shetty 78, is survived by his wife and a son. He was crematorium this evening.

He was closely associated with late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe.
