Hold Office of Governor in high esteem: Qureshi

"In any state, there are a number of things that can not happen without the knowledge or permission of governor," Qureshi said during a meet-the-press programme.

Asserting the role of the Office of the Governor, he said the Governor is the chancellor of universities in the state and plays an important role in many matters.

The governor discharges duty as per the provisions laid under the Constitution, he added.
