Holiday declared in schools in Punjab tomorrow

In view of the efforts put in by children for Independence Day functions commemorated at various places, Punjab government today declared holiday in all schools across the state tomorrow.

The announcement in this regard was made by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal here, an official spokesperson said.

Badal today decided that all the schools in the state would remain closed on Monday in view of the preparations by children for their participation in Independence Day celebrations.
