A Home Guard allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticides today in Munger town, police said.
Superintendent of Police, Munger said Home Guard Sanjeev Yadav (35) was posted at Muffasil police station and was under stress due to some family-related dispute.
"According to our information he consumed Salphas insecticide at his residence at Lal Darwaza in the town and died. We are investigating the case further," the SP said.
The body has been sent for postmortem and family members of the deceased have been informed.
