It was hot and sultry in the national capital today as rains continued to evade the city making life uncomfortable for Delhiites.
The day temperature was recorded at 37.5 deg C, which was one degree above normal for this part of the year and 2.3 points up from yesterday's 35.2 deg C.
Minimum temperature too remained one notch above normal at 28.4 deg C, nominally higher than yesterday's 26.9 deg C.

The maximum humidity level was recorded at 87 per cent, while the minimum was 59 per cent.
The MeT office has predicted generally cloudy sky tomorrow with possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be at 37 and 27 deg C respectively.
