On demand services company, Housejoy has launched home automation services.
"While the space of home automation has picked up pace, there is curious dearth of information on offer, in terms of prices, usage and functionality. Housejoy aims to reach out to the consumers and understand their psyche, thus helping them provide tailored solutions to each household," said Harsha Chaittanya, Category Manager, Housejoy.
Another largely unorganised sector that Housejoy plans to penetrate is the offline at-home space for home tuitions, it added.

Ride-hailing app Ola today announced an association with Google for its outstation category.
The integration aims to enable access to a reliable and convenient mode of commute for long distance travel, a joint statement said.
This first of its kind association in India enables bookings from 23 cities to over 215 one-way routes in the country. In the coming weeks, the integration will be expanded to a total of 500 routes, it said.
