HP Assembly gets reference section

A reference section has been created in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly for the benefit of members, Assembly Speaker Rajiv Bindal today said.

:There is a reference section in Parliament, which is very useful for the members and a reference section has been created in the library in the assembly complex within a week's time on the same pattern,he said.

The members can get ready references to enrich their content, before they speak on any subject or participate in a debate in the House, Bindal said.

A member gives notice on a subject 24 hours before the actual debate, the reference section will provide information from the library or internet to the member, he said.
 

It is a new effort and there could be shortcomings initially but we will try to strengthen it and take it further with suggestions from the members of the House," he said.
