Himachal Pradesh University vice-chancellor Prof A D N Bajpayee today announced the schedule for elections of Students Central Associations (SCA) of the University and 100-odd affiliated colleges.
Elections to SCAs of the University and affiliated colleges would be held simultaneously on August 17.
The voters list would be displayed on August 10, objections could filed till August 12 and final voter list would be displayed on the same day, filing of nominations, scrutiny and display of final list of candidates would be done on August 13.
Final date for withdrawal is August 14 and elections would be held on August 17. The counting of votes would be conducted immediately after the polls and results are expected to be declared by the evening.
