Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) today released 8 per cent additional dearness allowance to its employees and pensioners with effect from January 2013.
The additional dearness allowance will be paid in installments from January to September, 2013 while it would be paid along with salary from October 2013, Transport minister G S Bali said.
It would put additional burden of Rs 10 crore annually on HRTC, Bali added.
He blamed the previous BJP government for mismanagement which led to the financial losses of Rs 382 crore to the corporation and added that all efforts would be made to wipe out the losses.
