Police today seized a huge cache of explosives, including detonators and gelatin sticks, after raiding a house in Mahabubabad town here.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Mahabubabad Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rama Devi raided the house of one Babula Pasha at Giriprasad Nagar in Mahabubabad, about 80 kms from here, and seized 500 gelatin sticks, 4,000 detonators, 25 wire bundles and 40 kgs of ammonium nitrate.
However, Pasha fled from the house and police teams were pressed into service to nab the accused, the DSP said.
