Huge quantity of explosive material seized in UP

A large quantity of explosive material, including ammonium nitrate, was recoverd in Mahoba district in Uttar Pradesh, police said here today.

The explosives were found in a rented house in Daharra area yesterday, they said.

The seizure included huge quantities of ammonium nitrate and dynamite besides 4850 detonators, police said.

A case had been registered against six persons and efforts were on to arrest them, they said.

Earlier, police said six persons had been arrested in connection with the seizure.
