Human chain formed on World Patient Safety Day

Over 100 students and 25 staff members at IIHMR campus today formed a human chain in a shape of Red Cross to create awareness for providing the best facilities and safety models to reduce the number of injuries caused to patients every year.

To converge this practice, the healthcare research organisation observed World Patient Safety Day highlighting the importance of patient safety.

An awareness campaign was today held putting emphasis on reporting, analysis and prevention of medical errors by the healthcare community which often leads to adverse incidents, SD Gupta, President of IIHMR University, said in a release.
