A woman and her paramour were allegedly hacked to death by her husband after he found them in a compromising state at a neighbour's house in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The accused identified as Khemchand Nayak allegedly killed his wife Chandrakala and her paramour Bhajan Lal after he found them at a neighbour's place in a compromising position, Manoj Sharma, SHO Suratgarh Sadar police station said.
Nayak woke up at 3 am to find his wife missing following which he went to the neighbourhood house, belonging to Bhajan Lal's sister, he said, adding that he hit them brutally with a sword and chopped off their hands killing both of them.

Family members of Bhajan Lal's sister were present in the house, but they did not come to rescue them, he said.
After the murders, Nayak surrendered at the police station following which he was arrested and the sword has been recovered.
"Bodies have been handed over to family members after postmortem," the SHO added.
