Husband, sister get life sentence in dowry death case

A fast track court today sentenced a man and his sister to life imprisonment for killing his wife in 2014 over dowry.

Judge Rajesh Bharadwaj convicted Ayub for killing his wife by setting her afire with the help of his sister Shehnaz over dowry at Masawi village on November 16, 2014.

According to government counsel Inam Tyagi, an FIR was registered against Ayub and Shehnaz at Thana Bhawan police station.
