Husband-wife duo killed in road accident

A couple was killed and two others were injured in a road accident today near Bhuradeeh village in Sikanderpur area here, police said.

Ghooran (50) and his wife Devanti (45) were on their bike when they were hit by a car, police said, adding that the duo died on the spot.

Two persons in the car were injured in the incident and were rushed to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable, they added.
