Union Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today said Hyderabad is a robust city which belongs to everybody.

"Hyderabad has the power to attract people from different corners of the world. It has that specialty. It would be enough if those in government do not disturb that power. It will go ahead further if encouraged," Naidu said.

Hyderabad belongs to all and all those residing in the city have equal freedom, he said while laying the foundation stone for the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Centre for excellence here.

On the occasion, he said things are looking up on the economic front in the country with the first quarter of the current financial year April-June 2014 clocking 5.70 per cent growth in GDP. The growth is highest in two-and-a-half years.

The first 100 days of the Modi government saw confidence growing among investors, he said.
