I attempted suicide a couple of times: Kendra Wilkinson

Reality TV personality Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett says she tried to kill herself when she was a teenager.

In a sneak peak of new episode of "Kendra on Top" the 30-year-old mother of two is seen saying her teenage years were riddled with emotional abuse from her distant mother, reported E! Online.

"When I was a teenager, I battled some severe depression. I attempted suicide a couple times. I went to a mental institution... Drugs, overdosing, slitting wrists, all that stuff," she said.

Former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, Wilkinson said she never got her mother's love.

"I was left on my own. I was a young... Girl. All I wanted was for my mom to say, 'I love you, and I'm here for you.' I never got that.
