Pop star Miley Cyrus says she is an attention-seeker.

The 20-year-old singer says she always likes the limelight to be pointing firmly in her direction, reported Showbizspy.

"It is hard to take a break. It is almost depressing when you are not working. You are so used to people calling your name, and that energy, and when you don't have it anymore.

"That is why I never complain about people wanting autographs or pictures. Because if there were a few days where no one asked, I would probably be like 'What is going on? Do people not like me?" Cyrus said.
