I want to start a family: Carrie Underwood

Singer Carrie Underwood is ready for a family.

The 'Blown Away' hitmaker, who turns turns 31 in March, said she would love the next decade to be spent raising children with husband Mike Fisher, reported Daily Mirror.

"I'd like a family. Not a big one, but not a small one either. I really want my 30s to be all about my family. When we do have kids its going to be wonderful. I think two is a good number.

"Mike's going to be the best dad ever. That makes the whole parent situation much, much better," she said.

Underwood and Fisher recently bought 400 acres of land outside of Nashville where they plan to build their dream home.
 

"I want cows and pigs and goats and chickens," she added.
