I wasn't serious about going solo: Gwen Stefani

Stefani, 42, has reunited with her original band No Doubt for their new album, 'Push and Shove' and said her solo career was never meant to be taken seriously, reported Contactmusic.
"It just feels so much more natural being back in this mode. The solo records allowed me to indulge my girly side but it was never meant to be taken seriously. It was just like an art project that kept going longer than I expected. The group never ended - we always knew we'd come back to make this album," she said.
The 'Wind it up' hitmaker also said that her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale from Bush does not listen to her pop group, which also includes Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont.
"Oh, he's never been a fan of what we do. He's more into dark, indie stuff. But I'm not saying he doesn't think I'm amazing."
