I will not tolerate evil men: Janelle Monae

Janelle Monae says that she loves men but will not cow down before the ones who are evil and continue mistreating women.

In an interview with Marie Claire, the 31-year-old actress-singer says she wants men to actively participate in making a difference in the world.

"I love men. But evil men? I will not tolerate that. You don't deserve to be in my presence. If you're going to rule this world, I am not going to contribute anymore until you change it," Janelle says.

The "Moonlight" actress adds that woman "have to realise our power and our magic. Because I am all about black-girl magic, even though I'm standing with all women. But this year? This yeah, I am so carefree black girl.
