IAF officer killed in road accident

An IAF officer was today killed when his car collided head on with a truck in Barmer district of Rajasthan, police said here.

Squadron Leader Simranjeet Singh was posted at Uttarlai airbase in Barmer and was on his way to the district when his car collided head-on with the truck coming from the opposite direction, police said.

The mishap occurred near Narsinghanio ki Dhani in Sadar police station area.
