IBM completes acquisition of Sanovi Technologies

IBM today announced it has completed acquisition of Sanovi Technologies, a hybrid cloud recovery and business continuity software firm, aimed at bolstering its Software Defined Resiliency strategy.

The company has not disclosed financial details of the acquisition.

Sanovi Technologies is a privately held company that provides hybrid cloud recovery, cloud migration and business continuity software for enterprise data centres and cloud infrastructure, IBM said in a release.

IBM plans to integrate the Sanovi capabilities into the IBM Global Technology Services unit.

IBM said with Sanovi's software, the company will further empower clients to redefine their disaster recovery strategy in the face of unprecedented industry change.
