Idols found vandalised

Two idols of Muniappan Swamy (Rural

God) were found vandalised at a temple at Karatazhagan Patti near here, police said today.

Local people found the idols damaged last evening when they went to offer worship at the shrine, said to be an ancient one, police said.

Police are maintaining strict vigil, police said, adding, a case has been registered.
