iGirl killed during celebratory firing

A 12-year-old girl was killed and a minor boy got injured in a celebratory firing during a wedding function at Bhora Kala village in the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when a person open fired during the wedding ceremony, SP (Rural) Alok Priyadarshi said.

The deceased girl has been identified as Anjali, while the injured boy Armit (11) was shifted to a nearby hospital in a serious condition.

Police has registered a case against the accused, who is absconding after the incident.
