Illegal arms manufacturing unit busted in UP, one held

An illegal arms manufacturing unit was busted and one person was arrested in Etah district here, police said today.

Eighteen country-made pistols and equipment used to make weapons were seized, they said.

The accused, identified as Kalyan Singh, was arrested yesterday from Parauli village which comes under the jurisdiction of Jaithra Police Station, they said.

A case was registered against Singh, while a search is underway to nab two of his accomplices, the police added.
