Illegal liquor seized, 2 arrested

Two persons have been arrested and 350 litres of illegal liquor was seized from their possession in Kendrapara district, the police said today.

The accused, Madhav Mallick (41) and Sagar Mallick (30) who were carrying the liquor in a car for illegal trading, were arrested yesterday during a police raid near Giranga Chowk of Marsaghai area, the police said.

The police also seized Rs 63,000 from their possession.
