Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today seized seven trucks loaded with material including optical fibre cable, shacks, spades, of a major telecom company for undertaking digging of roads in the city without permission.
The seven trucks containing the material of Reliance Jio Infocomm were seized from different parts of Jammu city as the company was undertaking digging of roads without permission from JMC, an official statement of JMC said here today.
The company was not immediately available for comments.

The drive will continue against all violators, JMC said and warned and directed that proper permission be obtained from the Municipal Corporation.
The telecom company has been undertaking digging in several roads and streets in Jammu city for the past fortnight prompting protests by people who said that most of the roads have been dug up ahead of the monsoon.
