Police today busted an illicit liqour plant and recovered large quantity of spirit and related material from a village in Bihar's Gopalganj district.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided Sahar village and busted the illicit liqour plant before seizing 1000 litre spirit contained in five drums, pouch-making machine, empty pouches and related material, the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anil Kumar said.
While the illicit liquor plant owner Satyendra Singh escaped from the spot, his nephew has been detained for questioning, he said.
