For the first time in the history of Jammu and Kashmir, cases were today heard in the high court here through video-conferencing.
Eleven cases of the Srinagar wing of the high court were heard by Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmad via video-conferencing from Jammu and orders were passed, an official spokesman said here.
Lauding the facility, the chief justice said the use of video-conferencing in court hearings would help in quicker dispensation of justice.
