India's top literary bodies along with a number of other publishing houses are participating in an international book fair which began here today.
National Book Trust, Sahitya Akademi, and Children Book Trust are participating in the Lahore International Book Fair from February 5-9 in collaboration with Children's Literature Festival, Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aaghai, and the High Commission of India in Islamabad.
This participation is organised by the National Book Trust on the Indian side.
Other publishing houses based in India which are participating in the event include: Sage Publications, India; Springer (India) Pvt Ltd; Random Publications, India; Pearsons Education, India; Cengage Learning (India) Pvt Ltd; Khel Sahitya Kendra, India; Phi Learning, India; Scientific International (Pvt) Ltd, India; AITB Publishers, India; Jaypee Brothers Medical Publishers (Pvt) Ltd, India; Random Publications; and MacGraw Hill Education (Pvt) Ltd, India.
The Indian stalls were visited by a large number of Pakistan students.
