Indian killed in freak accident in Malaysia

An Indian national was killed in a freak accident trigerred by a storm in Malaysia, local media said today.

Jahir Hussain Sulaiman (46) was killed in Penang yesterday when a concrete slab fell on the lorry carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders which he was driving, his younger brother Peroez Khan said.

Jahir, who hailed from Tamil Nadu and worked as a truck driver, planned to return to India next month to visit his family, said Peroez who arrived in Penang three weeks ago.

"His wife, Siti Thajnisa, is still finding it hard to accept that he is gone," he told a local daily.
 

The accident took place when a storm lashed Penang yesterday.
