Indisposed Badal deputes Deputy CM to preside over swearing-in

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today deputed Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to administer oath of office to newly elected members of Zila Parishad and Block Samitis.

Badal was supposed to preside over the function in Ludhiana tomorrow.

A spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said Badal took this decision after doctors advised him to avoid travelling for the next couple of days as he was recovering from illness.
