Four convicts accused of killing a fellow inmate and injuring another have been shifted from the district jail.
Pramod, Shahrukh, Pradeep and Sukha who allegedly killed inmate Chandrahas were shifted to separate jails yesterday, Rakesh Singh, Jail Superintendent, said.
While Pramod and Sharukh were shifted to Meerut jail, Pradeep and Sukha were sent to Saharanpur jail, he said.
Chandrahas was allegedly beaten to death by the accused on June 23 inside the district jail here. Another inmate was injured in the incident, the official added.
