Agro-chemical firm Insecticides India today posted 68.42 per cent jump in its net profit at Rs 9.6 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal on strong sales.
Net profit stood at Rs 5.7 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Net revenue increased to Rs 175.7 crore in the October- December quarter of the 2017-18 fiscal from Rs 155.5 crore in the same period last year.

The company's Managing Director Rajesh Aggarwal said, "The company is firmly on growth path... Launch of new products gives us depth in our offerings to the markets and also supports us expanding our reach. We expect to continue the same trend in performance."
Shares of the company rose 1.98 per cent to settle at Rs 811.65 apiece on the BSE today.
