Inter-state tree cutter gang busted; 15 held

Police today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang of tree cutters by arresting its 15 members in Kotwali here.

SSP Anant Dev said the gang was operating in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh states.

Police recovered four vehicles, Rs 50,000 and wood from them yesterday, he said.
