The fifth edition of International Tourism Mart will begin in Imphal tomorrow, which is expected to bring together tourism business fraternity from overseas as well as all northeastern states and West Bengal.
The Union Tourism Ministry, in association with the northeastern states and West Bengal, is organising the three-day event in the capital of Manipur which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, an official release said today.
"The event has been planned and scheduled to facilitate interaction between buyers, sellers, media, government agencies and other stakeholders," it said.

As many as 57 buyers and delegates from ASEAN countries, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Russia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, the UK and the US, among others are likely to participate in the event, the release said.
The International Tourism Mart is organised in the northeastern states on rotation basis. The earlier editions of the mart were held in Guwahati, Tawang, Shillong and Gangtok.
